Printing Instructions

Each individual clamp is quite small and while it is possible to print them one at a time, printing them in a batch is recommended. The Designer's Kit is ready to go as a batch print. It is recommended to build your own smaller batch to test the size and fit of parts. Each part is modeled on a custom raft to provide maximum bed adhesion. The raft is 1mm thick. Add multiple clamps into your work area of your slicer and then use your slicer's tools to add a primitive cube or cylinder. Shrink the height on the Z axis to 1mm and scale the X and Y axis to cover all of your parts. The parts are designed for standard print settings with PLA, 2 perimeters, 15% infill. Due to variation of printers, slicers, and material it is possible that you may need to scale the parts larger or smaller by a few percent to get a perfect fit from your machine. If you source your own bars then you will need to experiment with scaling to find the right fit.
